We’re looking for a terminally online Social Media & Marketing Manager to own our presence across X (Twitter), Farcaster, TikTok, and more—and to create and ship our newsletter. You’ll set strategy, run the calendar, make content (yes: write, film, edit, meme), talk to our community daily, and measure what moves the needle.
You’ll thrive here if you can switch between brand storyteller, meme anthropologist, short-form video editor, and growth analyst—all before lunch.
What You’ll Do
- Own the social strategy & calendar across X, Farcaster, TikTok, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms.
- Create content: write high-signal threads/casts, script & edit short-form video, produce lightweight visuals (Figma/Canva), and ship a weekly (or better) newsletter that converts.
- Grow the audience: design repeatable growth loops, collaborations, and referral mechanics; test formats and posting cadences; amplify creator wins.
- Be the voice: reply, quote, and cast in real time; distill product launches, milestones, and spicy industry takes into tight, shareable posts.
- Run experiments: A/B test hooks, thumbnails, CTAs, and formats; iterate based on retention/CTR/follow rates and downstream product metrics.
- Report & attribute: set goals, track UTMs, connect social performance to signups/activation; deliver clear weekly dashboards and insights.
- Partner marketing: coordinate with creators, partners, and the team for launches, features, AMAs, and creator spotlights.
- (Nice) Paid pilots: scope small paid tests on X/TikTok when organic signals are strong.
What You’ve Done
- 2–6+ years in social/growth/content (startup or creator-economy experience a plus) with proof of audience growth and examples we can click.
- Meme-literate and context-aware; you know when to lean in—and when not to.
- Elite writing: clear, concise, opinionated; you can make technical concepts feel intuitive.
- Short-form video skills: scripting, basic filming, and editing (CapCut/Final Cut/Premiere/Descript).
- Data-savvy: UTMs, analytics, cohort basics; you ship experiments and read the results.
- Crypto/Web3 native (or extremely curious), Farcaster-fluent preferred.
